Tournament is for 12-14yrs old junior high school, no high schoolers. Located at Dean Street Park Playground, on Bergen Street between Carlton and 6th Avenue in Park Slope, Brooklyn.

3:30pm Youth League (boys)  Team Reebok vs Coney Island All Stars. .Lance Stephenson (# 7th grader in America), Truck Bryant (best freshman to enter St Raymond), David Imes (starting forward at Xaverian as frosh), Brandon Romain (best lefty since Walter Berry).

8/28/04 It will be the Coney Island Bro-day All Stars vs. Team Reebok in the Conrad McRae tournament championship on Saturday, 9/11 at 4:00 PM after CI raced to a 90-76 win over Desert Storm and Reebok got the wire-to-wire 86-73 win against Trackmasters.  It looked dismal for Coney Island when with 4:14 to go in the game their star, Lance Stephenson (14 points as he brought the ball up court and played center on defense) fouled out with his team up by only 78-71. No problem. Tim (Vee) Flowers (27 points, pictured left and heading for Lincoln in the fall), Phil Taylor (17), Julian Pena (13) and Isiah Morton (13) pick up the slack to coast to the win.

When Trackmasters lost to Reebok during the season, their center, 6-5 Marquise Grant was not in the lineup and they were trounced. Marquise arrived today but his 13 points didn't make enough of a difference. Erving Walker (33 points on almost that many shots) and Lenny McNeil (18, he's pictured left) were high for Trackmasters but Brandon Romain (29), Daryl (Truck) Bryant (22) and David Imes (19)  dominated.

7/11/04 Marquis Grant (pictured left from Right Bounce) is the 6-5 forward headed to Christ the King this fall. He plays this summer at Conrad McRae for Trackmaster with fellow CK commit, Erving Walker. This afternoon he was a no show leaving Trackmaster's  6-1 Lenny McNeill to counter Team Reebok's  6-1 smooth lefty forward Brandon Romain (near right ) and 6-5  power forward David Imes (far right and with Brandon a Xaverian commit) in the paint. It was a mismatch.

Team Reebock and the Xaverian duo dominated the first half, leading 39-26. We'll have all Conrad McRae results early this week.

We are also featured in this month's Slam Street magazine as one of the better summer basketball leagues in New York.'
