2/27/03  Wing Lee, Jersey Paladins: 'The Jersey Paladins are proud to be hosting the 2003 "Spring Jam" Invitational Tournament, during the weekend of May 3rd and 4th, at Ramapo College in Mahwah, New Jersey. On behalf of the team, I would like to extend an invitation to your team to compete in this exciting basketball event, as teams from the metropolitan area gather for a fun-filled weekend of basketball competition.

· All games will be played in the Athletic Center, a state-of-the-art basketball facility on campus.

· Individual trophies awarded to the championship teams. Tournament MVP & All Tournament Team selected. Participating teams receive a commemorative team plaque.

· Boys ages 10, 11,12,13,14U teams are welcome to participate. Individual age divisions to be formed whenever possible or divisions will be grouped into Boys 11-12 & 13-14. Entry fee is $300 per team and includes 3+ games. All games officiated by (2) certified IAABO referees.

· Participants can tour the facilities of the nationally recognized All-Star Baseball/Basketball Summer sleep-away camp. Ramapo baseball Coach Rich Martin founded the camp in 1980 and has been running it ever since. Paul Lizzo, Director of Basketball runs the basketball camp. Mr. Lizzo serves on the ECAC/NEC officials evaluation committee and was formerly a scout for the NJ Nets, a coach for the Philadelphia 76ers and the Italian Olympic Team. He was head coach for the Division I LIU Blackbirds and Fairleigh Dickinson Devils.
