Playaz Ball, 2004

The Playaz Ball is July 16-17, 2004 @ Seton Hall University. *** An NCAA Certified Event *** Sponsored by the Playaz Basketball Club and adidas.

" There will be 16 teams in each division of play.   " Games will consist of two 16 minute halves (stop time) in all divisions.   " If an overtime is needed it will be a 3-minute period and each team will get one additional 30-second timeout. If a 2nd overtime period is needed in pool play it will be sudden death. In the playoffs it will be 3-minutes.   " Each team is entitle to two full timeouts and two 30-second timeouts per game. The timeouts may carry over into the overtime periods.   " The 1st team listed is the home team and must wear lighter colored uniform.   " Any player or coach who receives two technical fouls will be ejected from the game and will be suspended for the team's next game.   " Pool play will consist of four teams who will play three games apiece.   " All Technical Fouls will result in an award of 2 points and the ball. (We will not shoot Technical Foul Shots)   " In the event of a tie, we will use the following tie-breakers. a. Head to Head Play, b. Offensive Point Differential (20 pt. Max per game), c. Fewest total points allowed within Pool Play.

Friday pool play for all three divisions will be on the eight Seton Hall courts for nine rounds with start times spaced by an hour and 15 minutes beginning at 10:00 AM and ending with a 8:00 PM start.
