Brooklyn Patriots   4/10/06 Patrick Grady: 'This Spring the Brooklyn Patriots begin their second season of play. We are fielding teams in 5 divisions: 10u, 11u, 12u, 13u & 14u. We are again looking for young men who are looking to become better basketball players through hard work, hustle and determination. Our 13u & 14u teams are currently playing in the Funsport League @ the Brooklyn Navy Yard and all the teams will be playing in multiple events through June. We will also be fielding teams in the Nike League this summer.

The Brooklyn Patriots organization was founded and is run by David & Billy Edwards. Our goal is to provide a positive atmosphere for all of our players to learn, compete and make new friends. We stress the importance of academic success as well as basketball success.

CT Flame  Coach Hassan Bilal: The director of the CT Flame is Dr. Ervin Braun. I am the Head coach of the 16U Elite team. My assistant coach is George Langhorn. The Flame is a great program, that is concerned primarily with teaching young student-athletes to be not only better basketball players but also role models and positive examples in their communities. We practice 2-3 times a week and focus on teaching fundamentals and how to play aggressive high intensity basketball. We will be traveling to high profile tournaments throughout the country, in order to get our student-athletes maximum exposure. We also will be doing local spring/summer league tournaments throughout the metropolitan area.

Warriors, LI  4/107/06 Coach Glen Steinberg: 'The Warriors AAU team plays out of New York coached by Glen Steinberg, The Warriors play in numerous tournaments throughout the Northeast 12 months a year. Their roster can vary with many of the top ranked players, playing with the Warriors over the past year. The Warriors play team tournaments as well as 3-3 tournaments, winning the Nationals two of the last six years including a second place finish three years ago. They plan on going down to Florida this year for Nationals. This year they have also started some younger teams and will play in many tournaments under the name- New York Warriors. 

Warriors participate in many invitational tournaments, Players who have played with them have secured D1 basketball scholarships at Vermont , Hofstra, Wagner, Sacred Heart, North Carolina , Providence and numerous D2 schools. Warriors have played at First Union Center , Nassau Coliseum, and a special invite tournament inside Madison Square Garden . While being mentioned in numerous websites, newspapers, and periodicals, the Warriors frequently thin out their talent and bring in younger players for tournaments to allow for more competitive games and tournaments. In the end, it is all about the fun and enjoyment everyone is having playing the game.

4/107/06 Coach Rob Rizzo: 'The Westchester Hawks U16 Select are an extremely talented group of young players who will be exploding onto the New York and New Jersey hoop scene in the coming years.

Vernon HS, Kevin Drew - 6'0" combo guard - John Jay HS (Cross River), Corey Ellis - 6'6" C - Beacon HS, Alberto Estwick - 6'3" 2G - St. Anthony's HS (Jersey City), RJ Hall 5'11" PG - Bloomfield Tech HS, Ra'shad James - 5'11" combo guard - White Plains HS, Kevin Jones - 6'8" F/C - Mt. Vernon HS, Mookie Jones - 6'6" F - Peekskill HS, Sean Kilpatrick 6'4" 2G - White Plains HS, Naseer Robinson - 6'4" F - Mt.
